Happy Thankgiving!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends!

It is quite unfortunate of what is happening in India, especially now that a Chabad house may have been a target Very sad, may Hashem save them from these barbaric animals and invoke Justice on them. Please add extra tehillim for our brothers in India

On that note Things To Be Thankful For:

1. We live in a safe and secure country
2. Look around us and see our family and friends who are still with us
3. Silver Spring Jewish community is made up of so many different types of people who have
great opinions whether they are anonymous or not.
4. The American government takes care of us Jews and has the most just judicial system on this
earth.
Things to Pray for!

1. The Obamaniacs don't push our economy even further into debt.
2. Fannie and Freddie stocks increase
3. The Obamaniacs don't turn our healthcare policy into socialized medicine
4. The Kemp Mill Mikva gets put on hold until tuition gets taken care of.

Did I forget anything?? Please let us know

"The Kemp Mill Mikva gets put on hold until tuition gets taken care of."

Definitly not!!!!

Taharas Hamishpacha is Waaaaaay more important than tuition. We're talking about an issur dioraysa....A Chiyuv of Kares!!!! I'm with you on obama, but keep chiyuvei kares out of the picture. Pick on something else. The mikva in any "Jewish" city is #1, the you can bring in schools.

Are you dumb or dumber?? The idea about a mikva first is only when you have a choice of a mikva or noy. Last I checked we have 3-4 mikvaos in the area. I believe like you do in Trikle down economy..If we take care of tuition we have more money for a mikva.

mark, are you dumber or dumbest?? you dont think we are in need of a new mikva? you obviously have not been in awhile!?

Mr (obviously dumbest) Mark( who is clearly NOT concerned),

Whens the last time you stepped foot in one of the decrepit mikvaos in the area? If we dont take car of the mikva problem...THERE wont be a need for a tuiton fix. Children (according to halacha) only come about through taharas hamishpacha! Hameivin Yavin!

Clearly your elevator does not reach the top floor, if you know what I am saying..
Tharas Mishpacha occurs in a magnificent mikva and also in a dump hole in Mai Yesharim..
you seem to believe that I am against the building of a new Mikva which is non sense.
Are you aware of tuition prices?? Do you know that I have heard people say that they are family planning and "cutting" down on Family size to pay for tuition.

No of course the people who just pump out babies do not even care about tutition because majority of the time they are not paying and are dependent on the Baal Habattim.

Lets get real there are 3-4 MIkvos in the area that are enough to satisfy any man and bas torah after waiting 14 days....

Firstly, If my elevator doesn't reach my top floor, i think they stopped building yours once level one was finished:) (Hameivin Yavin!)

Second, Yes, Taharas hamishpacha DOES occur in any mikva but dont you think its appropriate and nice for the women to feel clean when they come out rather than feel like they came out of a old disgusting building?

Third, it is called "Mea Shearim"
which means "100 paths." Your spelling of "mai Yesharim" means "waters of those who are straight"

fourth, im not sure what you would propose. Do you think the schools are taking a profit here?!? NO!!! They have bills to pay, teachers with salaries etc... What should they do? Not pay their teachers? How will the teachers afford to live?!? Any one who "honestly" cant afford tuition, i can guarantee you is not turned away. These people you speak of, im sure, have money and just dont want to spend it on their child's education. What kind of car do these people drive? Maybe cut back on that rather than their children.

Saying that tuition is more important than a mikva is talking apples and oranges. Pick on something else, buddy. Dont start up with the corner stones of a Jewish home. The community needs a nice mikva.

fifth, that is a chutzpa of you to talk about people who "pump" out babies. Yes, rabbonim nowadays are matir birth control. But remember that is a "HETER." Those people that dont use it are only living in this world in the way hashem designed it to run.

Just because YOU are angry about tuition, does not mean you should attack and belittle a community effort signed by ALL the Rabbonim in the area as the main focus for tzedaka. Who are you? You certainly dont sound like a rav? ("mai Yesharim"...)

You get real!! Realize how stupid you sound when argue with talmidim chachamim and start to pretend like you know even an iota of halacha. You clearly are not concerned with halacha....So what does concernedsilverspringer mean if not Torah and halacha? What are you so concerned about?

Thank you for your correction of my "play on words".

So let's sum up:
1) You and I agree that Taharas Mishpacha occurs in any Mikva.

2) Both our elevators do not reach the top floor

3) Schools have expenses salaries, and all other expenses

What is your source of how the majority of the women feel about a Mikva. What type of programs and groups have been developed to deal with the outragous price of tuition.

I got an Idea lets take a POLL!!!
